If you then want additional unpack services, we can do everything from supporting you to unpacking, acting as assistants to creating bespoke storage solutions and systematic organisation that is designed to complement how you use each space. Moving is one of the most stressful life transitions you can experience, so yes you maybe able to do everything yourself, but why do that when you can have the support of an experienced organiser?
As a trained move co-ordinator with considerable experience, I bring knowledge and skills to your move that will make it easier. I’m a friendly, professional support who is there only to make your move feel smooth and easy. I also bring with me professional connections and relationships with auction houses, house clearance and removals companies - which means I can advise you on the best services to meet your needs.
There’s very little I haven’t experienced with moves, so even when things get delayed or go wrong, I know how to negotiate and get everything moving quickly again.
Do ring me and find out more or check out the testimonials from my happy customers to see examples of the moves I’ve worked on.

This is up to you and the belongings you have. I’m committed to your wishes, so we can discuss the value of your belongings and we can decide from there.
If you have valuable furniture and saleable items, I have connections and knowledge of local auction houses. I also know various ways to sell on books and music quickly.
With items that are not saleable, I can either organise charity collections or provide links and local advise on charities that can collect from you.
I’m also happy to remove smaller items to recycling centres and upcycling organisations.

With your furniture, I use a basic floor plan creator that allows us to play with your furniture and see if it will fit. If we discover it won’t, I can help you move it on and then source the perfect piece to fit your new home.
With your belongings, from the floor plan and knowing the size and types of storage you have I can advise you by how much you need to downsize by. We then work through each room looking at all of your possessions. If it seems you have lots of the same or similar items, we’ll gather them together so make selecting the best ones to keep easy.
Anything removed from your home will only be done by permission and taken to the appropriate place such as charity or recycling.
If you look at the declutter page, this will also give you an idea of how we process your items.

In short - no, I will never pressure you to remove items that you do not want to remove. Decluttering is always client led.
However, if you are downsizing I can advise you by how much you’ll need to declutter in order to fit within your new home. There are ways to make this process enjoyable and engaging. I’ve found that when I’ve worked with clients they suddenly find their decluttering bug and wonder why they kept hold of somethings for so long.
To understand how decluttering works, have a look through my declutter page.

Absolutely! All you have to do is let me know what services you want to cancel, once you have provided me with permission with the company I can organise all of this for you. I can also change addresses for you.
I can even research for better deals for you with other utility companies, helping you select the service provision you need.
On the day of your move, I’m also happy to take meter readings at your old house and new house, providing you with date stamped photos as evidence you can keep should you need it.

With unpacking I offer two types of service. The first is unpacking on arrival.
This is a basic unpack to ensure everyone in the household has somewhere to sleep and has their essentials; clothes, toiletries etc.. set up to make it a comfortable nights sleep. I also unpack the kitchen to the extent that you can make yourself things to eat and drink.
The second service is a full unpack service. This includes systemising all of your rooms, zoning and organising as things are unpacked.
If your requiring a complete storage redesign with new baskets, containers, shelving and bespoke storage solutions that are designed and built to fit your new home, this can be achieved. However it would need project management and planning before the move. It’s a more extensive process and may take several weeks to a month for all areas to be unpacked completely. However an extensive investment such as this, would provide you with a show home standard for your new life.

If you are wanting me and my team to pack your belongings I can do this, creating a labelling system that ensures you know where things are. This is especially useful if you are placing things into storage before unpacking.
However, if you have a comprehensive pack and removal agreement with your removals company, I can oversee everything on packing and removal day - completing meter reads, locking up and returning keys to estate agents. I then follow the team, overseeing furniture placementand boxes are placed in the correct rooms.
I am also happy to organise arrival times at both houses, co-ordinating with your solicitors to ensure a smooth transition as your home completes.
-
If your wanting to step completely out of the process of moving, I am happy to organise your entire move from start to finish including recommendation of removals companies to unpacking your home.
The only aspect you’ll need to be involved in is signing the paperwork and talking to your solicitor where needed.

I charge £45 per hr plus 55p per mile travel. However, for large projects I also offer discounts and one off fee/ completion invoices so you can budget your move effectively.
In terms of the cost for your project it does depend on the time it will take and the level of support you will receive. It is a bespoke service so i will be able to give you a clearer idea of the cost in a quote.
Before starting a project with you I will take a deposit based on the quote. This will be taken off your final bill.
In terms of cancelation, if you need to change or rearrange an appointment you need to give me 48 hr notice unless you are seriously ill. In this circumstance you can cancel up to the day.
However, if you cancel and I incur any out of pocket expenses due to the cancellation you will be subject to these costs and it will be taken out of the deposit. These include having booked equipment/ 3rd parties/ travel costs if train journeys have been booked or an assistant has been booked and has already started to travel.
