Small Projects: Wardrobe, Paperwork, Photographs, Finance
A small project such as decluttering and organising your wardrobe, sorting and displaying your kids' toys, creating filing systems for your paperwork, and a date or place referenced system for your photo collection makes life so much simpler, whilst decluttering and organising a small space such as a shed, garage, or even loft can save time and reduce stress. Help to organise provides services to help you achieve a tidy home, no matter where you need the help!
Everything you need to organise your projects and smaller spaces:
Paperwork/Photo organising and creating systems of filing. Including advice on paperwork you need to keep and how long for. It takes the headache out of finding your recent phone bill or the hoover guarantee when you need it
Toy organisation created to specifically meet the needs of your children - their age, learning style and interests considered. Toys can then be found easily and may even be put back after play ends by little hands, not just your own
Wardrobes decluttered and organised so you’ll never have that - where is my fav top moment again! It also means putting an outfit together is so easy to do and your wardrobe is only filled by what flatters you not with your expensive mistakes
Sheds cleared out of all the old junk and easy-to-find systems put in place so tools and items are located quickly
Lofts/Garages decluttered and zoned, so you know where to find Christmas decorations and your summer wardrobe without having to spend hours searching
Help to Organise achieves this by providing:
An in-depth consultation to find out exactly what outcomes you are looking for and to discover how you use each space/ item (everyone is different so no one system will be the same)
One-on-one sessions where we look through your possessions/items/ paperwork in detail. Discovering what needs to be kept and why
Removal of all unwanted items to charity, recycling centres or shredded in the case of paperwork
Creating a bespoke organisational system combining tried and tested storage solutions based on your personal style, preference and needs
Bespoke labelling to suit your storage and appropriate to what is being stored.

I have over 30 years of experience in organisation, having worked in project and event management for many years in the NHS and in Charities. I have also been trained by The Senior Move Partnership as a move co-ordinator.
I have also downsized and decluttered myself over many years. I love interior design and it’s been a natural development to move into this field. However, the biggest key to my ‘training’ for this work has been in my own self development journey, thanks to this I am a calm, centred person who is unafraid of how people respond when they feel upset, ashamed, guilty, in grief or even angry.
Letting go and decluttering will always bring these feelings to the surface because your letting go of so much. If you handle this by being very practical and privately feel these feelings, I will work with you in this professonal manor. However, if you need to talk about anything or to work through feelngs your welcome to do so.

I am fully insured and DBS checked. I am also a member of The Senior Move Partnership, who only work with trained, professional organisers that can offer a high standard of care and support to their clients.
I am also a certified member of APDO, the governing body for professional organisers.
In additional to this I am also a holder of an ICO certificate so all of your personal information is held securely and will never be shared.

My charges are set a £45 an hour. £45 is the standard rate, however if you are referred by TSMP you will need to be charged at £55 per hour plus VAT
In terms of the cost for your project it does depend on the time it will take and the level of support you will receive. It is a bespoke service so i will be able to give you a clearer idea of the cost in a quote.
Before starting a project with you I will take a deposit based on the quote. This will be taken off your final bill.
In terms of cancelation, if you need to change or rearrange an appointment you need to give me 48 hr notice unless you are seriously ill. In this circumstance you can cancel up to the day.
However, if you cancel and I incur any out of pocket expenses due to the cancellation you will be subject to these costs and it will be taken out of the deposit. These include having booked equipment/ 3rd parties/ travel costs if train journeys have been booked or an assistant has been booked and has already started to travel.
